Volunteer week

Today we start a week of celebrating our Thames Valley Police Volunteers.  Our volunteers are a mix of serving officers, staff and members of the public.   

Pat Riley has worked with us firstly at Sonning Common Police Office and now Henley for over 20 years, she is a very much valued member of our team and a breath of fresh air whenever she walks through our door. Pat is responsible for processing the admin for the speed awareness team.  

There are a wide range of volunteering roles that you can apply to do through the TVP website.  Amongst those roles are, Volunteer Chaplains, photographers, Cadet leaders, Finger Print Bureau, Mounted Section and Role Players.  Some of volunteer roles are in high demand but it's well worth the wait when you do get selected.
